Seems To Me

it seems to me
life should be easier
but if it were
would we be so poetic
so artful and colorful
it seems to me
that without this
struggle we call life
all the things that
make us who we are
would be absent
no personalities
no character
no you or me
no stories to tell
without the struggle
there would be no life
so enjoy the struggle
embrace the journey
and live life
